There were only 3 of us and it was very difficult to find the location we were suppose to meet up with the chef. Not knowing the area, the location was not what I expected. Once we met the chef, the class was fun. Food was very good. Good deal for the money.

I had a pasta making class last time when I was visiting Rome for a business trip. It was super fun and I learnt a lot about Roman home cooking. So I thought I’d do it again with my husband and parents. I booked last minute so I couldn’t get in the class I took last time and this one is not as good. My parents are visiting Rome from China and They wanted to learn how to make pasta so they can make it at home when they return. It didn’t happen because they didn’t teach you make the sauce at all. I was disappointed. The pasta tasted good but the rest of the course are really average - it’s a meal I wouldn’t voluntarily eat if it didn’t come with the cooking class. It’s more just for fun date nights that kind of thing. Not for people who are seriously interested in local food and home cooking

We had a great time learning to make 2 kinds of Pasta and then enjoying eating the pasta in a 3 course meal. My only complaint is that we were suppose to get a picture and recipes but we haven't gotten them yet.

Great experience. My husband and our two kids (11 and 14) all had a good time cooking together. We though we would just eat the pasta we made, instead there were several courses. The chef was very knowledgeable, helpful, and patient.

Only just a 4 star for us. The pasta making was really informative and great fun with a really good teacher however the the 5 course meal wasnt great, we were rushed out in 2 hours to make way for a large group booking and the meal was hurried and courses back to front. We felt very rushed!

The best date my husband and I have been on! Chef David was a great teacher, and we appreciated the time he spent explaining Italian food culture to us. We learned a lot about pasta making that we're excited to try out at home. This was definitely a great value for the amazing food we enjoyed!

Our class, held in a restaurant in the heart of old Rome, was very basic. The tiny class consisted of the three of us grandmother surrogate with a 16 year-old boy and 12 year-old girl and a chef being trained to teach same pasta class. Of the four, two were seasoned cooks and two complete novices. That noted, the teacher guided us individually, clearly and successfully, through the beginning-to-end process of making pasta by hand each of us had his or her own station on a table that was too short for most adults standing upright. As one of the two seasoned cooks in the class, I found the lesson extremely useful and now make pasta regularly with a hand crank machine that Id never used before. The two inexperienced kids in the class not only found the lesson fun, but remembered the simple per person recipe and techniques after returning home and taken pride in making excellent handmade pasta for their parents without guidance or assistance. My two criticisms are that first, the high price of the class likely discourages many tourists from taking advantage of the pasta-making experience second, the class itself took up a minor portion of the time at the restaurant. Most of the time was devoted to the restaurant dinner that followed, which included a pasta course featuring the pasta that each of us had prepared. While that was a cute touch, the time taken by the class was much longer than necessary and expense seemed to relate more to the restaurant dinner which I would rate as OK than to the pasta making experience.

This pasta class was fun and the staff were lovely. We had a great meal after and enjoyed eating the fresh pasta we'd made as part of it. We've since made pasta from scratch a couple of times at home using the method we learnt, and would recommend this class to enjoy one lunchtime or evening while in Rome. Very close to Piazza Navona and very friendly teachers.
