We had a wonderful time on this trip. Our guide offered a lot of great information and made the trip fun with his personal touches. The B and B we stayed at in Fort Augustus was beautiful and very comfortable. We loved the train ride with all its scenic beauty. We would do this trip again in a heartbeat!

This tour was better than I thought it would be! Our guide Barney shared so much interesting history on the different areas we drove through. There were plenty of stops on the way so we never felt the drive was too long. We took a cruise on Loch Ness and stayed in a bed and breakfast right on the Loch. It was lovely. The steam trade ride was unforgettable...beautiful scenery just like in the movies! It was a wonderful trip for my husband and me. One we'll never forget.

My daughter and I have just returned from this trip. It was fantastic! Steven B was our guide and he was fabulous to say the least. He kept us well entertained with wonderful stories and historical fact. Apart from visiting lots of interesting places, he also took us for wee walks and wee advantures!! It was great! Truly an experpience to remember! I highly recommend it. Thank you Steven.

Tour was wonderful! Tons of history! You will span a large area of Scotland so there is a lot of traveling on the bus. The train was the absolute highlight of the trip! We did have one glitch with our accommodations. They use several B and B's in Fort Augustus for the over night. I was unaware of this. I had two bookings, one with myself and sister and another for my single son. I did have Viator cross reference the reservations and did not even think to ask upon check in for the tour that the tour operator did indeed show us cross referenced. Shortly before we arrived at all of the accommodations around 6PM it was discovered that my son was in a different B and B. There was no way to fix the error so we were split up and about a mile away from each other. If you are traveling with multiple reservations as you cannot book 3 people on one reservation, please be sure to ask upon check in that you are all staying together. If you are split, it will give them time to see if changes can be made. I wish my tour guide had taken the initiative to ask if anyone was willing to switch as there were several people staying at the same B and B as my son. But she didn't. She waited until everyone was dropped to then call her accommodations department. They of course stated there were no notes on the reservation. So please keep this in mind if you are traveling with a group of people. Otherwise, great experience!

We had the most amazing time on the 2 day Jacobite Experience. Scotland is beautiful and being able to see the countryside from the train was a real treat. All the places we stopped were picturesque and the people we met on the trip were great as well. Our bed and breakfast was perfect for us and the little towns had so much character. The only reason why i am giving it a 4 star instead of a 5 star is because there were a few times where I had to go to the bathroom and didn't have time to go. I am not sure how they would fix this though because in order to see all the places, you really can't stop often. Maybe leaving an hour earlier to allow this extra time would have helped. Anyway. I would recommend this trip to anyone that only has 2 days as it was amazing.

This was a great way to see the country that holds so much history and that serves as the setting for some wonderful literature. Our drive, guide, historian, comedian was Barney and he provided an awesome commentary that was informative and entertaining. I don't know if there's any way to see as much of Scotland in as little time as this tour provides. I would be remiss without including recognition of our charming B and B host and hostess in Fort William
