Louvre: World Famous Museum
One of the world's largest museums, the Louvre hosts over 380,000 objects and 35,000 pieces of artwork spanning over 60,000 square meters (15 acres) of exhibition space. The works are separated into 8 departments: Egyptian antiquities, Greek, Etruscan and Roman art, Islamic art, Near Eastern antiquities, decorative arts, paintings, sculpture and prints and drawings. The most famous works include Da Vinci's Mona Lisa, Delacroix's Liberty Leading the People, and Venus de Milo.
